Like knitting, it seems crocheting, again, came from Middle Earth and derived from Nålbinding. Surface research shows that its early works popped up in Arabia and spread west into Europe, but the North of Britain and Ireland honed the skill to ease boredom for Britain and famine for Ireland.

Ever growing in popularity due to the 2022 Corona Virus Pandemic, crochet continues to be a loved craft due to its quickness to grow and ease to create endless wearables and toys (once you have surpassed the first row!).
