Dressmaking Pricelist

Dressmaking

  • Please note that Dressmaking can involve a significant amount of work, and may therefore cost even more than a high street store garment. We are in the UK and our prices reflect both the skills we have and the cost of living here in the UK - we therefore charge accordingly.
  • Dressmaking consultation can take up to 1 hour and it is completely FREE. This may change to reflect the demand for appointments and it at the discretion of Management.
  • Sketches will be made during the meeting of your dream garment. To fully understand what you are wanting made it is advised for you to bring photos, especially of any detailing.
  • After the design of the garment is completed we request a non-refundable deposit of 50% of full amount. It then takes a minimum of 4 weeks for the garment to reach first fitting stage but it all depends on garment complexity.
  • Garment completion can take up to 2-3 fittings depending on the design. Please allow up to 30 minutes for each fitting.
  • Once fitting times are arranged, the customer will have to give 24hrs of notice to the designer to cancel/rearrange. There will be an extra if customer hasn’t arrived for a fitting without letting designer know within the time period.
  • Customers are advised to provide their own garment bags once their garment is completed.
  • Once the making process has started, if at any point you decide to cease then a full charge of the design, toille's and all processes will be charged in full.

Please note these prices are a guide and do not include material and notion costs!  Each project is judged and costed as an individual piece and as such are only set as a general price guide. Please note there can be costs added if customer requires changes to the garment design at any point of the process.
