Broderie anglaise (French for “English embroidery”) is a whitework needlework technique associated with England and incorporates embroidery, cutwork and needle lace.  Due to its popularity here in the 19th century, it is perfect for use as a dress fabric, nursery bedding, Christening-wear, soft furnishings and much more. Available in this beautiful 3 hole design (pattern repeat size is 14cms) but 5 hole design can be ordered on request.
