Screw-on Shank Button Sewing Machine Presser Foot

If you hate sewing on buttons then the button pressing foot is for you.  Using this foot to sew on a button not only gives a clearer view being horseshoe shaped but the rubberised bottom holds the button in place to make it easier and faster.

1. If your machine has the capability, drop the feed dog teeth or turn the stitch length to 0 so that the machine sews stationary (in the same place without movement)
2. Position your fabric and then your button on top then lower the presser foot.
3. Set the machine to zigzag and adjust until the needle will clear both holes (unfortunately, if you have a machine that doesnt allow this, which is normally a cheaper machine, you will struggle with this as they may be pre-set.)
4. Press down on the foot pedal until you have secured it.  Lift the needle to its highest point, lift the presser foot and remove it.
